March 20 – zero miles
Today we took a zero day. It was a good day with lots of rest, ice, stretching and swimming. Love this hotel and love Helen, GA. Helen is a quaint tourist town that reminds me of Gatlinburg, TN. Lots of shops, restaurants and walking paths. It is a town set up to look like an Alpine mountain village. We have also been able catch up on some blogging and watched UK get beat in the NIT.
We are watching the weather closely and plan to get back on the trail ASAP. By the way, forgot to mention that I spotted our first snake yesterday. Hard to miss when the stick you are stepping over starts to move. Kinda freaked me out…but I guess I better get over it! I made Leap lead after that!
